Sign in with Apple and Review Plan Changes

You can now sign up and sign in with Apple on the web. Review charges and carryover credits before confirming a plan change. We also fixed issues that could interrupt typing or leave parts of a note missing.

Improvements

  • You can now sign up and sign in with your Apple account on the web

  • For paid subscriptions purchased on the web, use "Manage subscription" in Settings to change your plan and billing cycle. Review the charge, effective date, and carryover credits with their expiration date before confirming, including when upgrading from annual billing

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where typing in Assistant chat or another text field could move the cursor to your note and send subsequent text there
  • Pressing Esc during Japanese text conversion no longer closes AI instruction fields or menu search fields and discards what you've typed
  • AI Assistant now leaves your note unchanged if part of an edit cannot be applied, preventing that edit from saving a note with missing content

Writing from Prior Notes and Faster Confirmations

AI Assistant can now draw on similar notes in your workspace to better match your usual writing style. You can answer action confirmations without typing, and Undo is faster in large notes.

  • When you create a kind of document you've written before, AI Assistant can review similar notes in your workspace and use their structure, wording, rhythm, and tone as references
  • When AI Assistant asks to proceed with an action, you can answer from a question panel without typing a reply
  • Undo now takes about half as long in notes larger than roughly 1 MiB

Outline Navigation and More Reliable Assistant Edits

Jump directly to a heading from the outline in long notes. Assistant edits are also more likely to appear without needing a reload.

Improvements

  • In notes with two or more headings, use the outline along the right side of the editor to review the document structure and jump directly to a heading

Fixes

  • If an assistant edit doesn't appear in the editor, Inki now retries delivering it. If the edit still doesn't appear, the assistant can recognize the sync issue and explain what to check

Multi-Block Editing and More Reliable Assistant Responses

Select and edit multiple blocks at once in the editor. Assistant responses that use tools are also less likely to stop before showing the result.

Improvements

  • Select multiple blocks with your mouse or keyboard, then format, move, copy, paste, delete, or edit them with AI as one selection
  • On pointer devices, editing tools now appear beside a block or selected text instead of in a fixed toolbar. Use the + button or / menu to search for and insert blocks

Fixes

  • Fixed a case where an assistant response could get stuck in progress after using a tool, preventing the rest of the response from appearing

Better Attachment Access and Undo

The assistant can now access attachments added during a conversation and files created by recent assistant actions. You can also undo moving notes and folders.

Improvements

  • If you move a note or folder, move it to Trash, or finish a review by mistake, use the displayed Undo action or press Cmd+Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows) to restore the previous state

  • Fixed cases where the assistant couldn't access an attachment added during a conversation or a file created by a recent assistant action

Undo a Canceled AI Edit

You can now undo an accidental cancellation in AI Editing or Inline Generation. Long AI edits render more smoothly, note syncing is safer, and account deletion works on Mobile Web.

Improvements

  • Press Cmd+Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows) immediately after canceling an AI Editing or Inline Generation result to restore it without generating it again. In AI Editing, undoing right after cancellation also keeps your note content safe
  • Long AI Editing results now render more smoothly while they are generated

Fixes

  • Fixed cases where an unstable connection could leave note changes unsaved or damage a document. Inki now resends blocked changes after the connection recovers
  • Fixed account deletion from Settings on Mobile Web

Attach text files up to 100,000 characters

AI Assistant now accepts text files up to 100,000 characters. Enlarged images are easier to dismiss, and syncing large notes is more reliable.

Improvements

  • Increased the text file limit in AI Assistant from 20,000 to 100,000 characters for formats such as .md, .txt, .csv, and .html. You can send long documents and meeting notes as a single file
  • Drag an enlarged image and move it far enough or flick it to dismiss it. Scrolling no longer closes the image, and the page behind it stays in place

Fixes

  • Improved syncing for notes several megabytes in size to reduce cases where editing caused sync to disconnect and changes to remain unsaved

Paste long text into AI Assistant and send it without adding a separate message.

  • Paste 1,000 or more characters into AI Assistant and Inki attaches the text automatically. You can send it without adding a separate message. The attachment chip shows the beginning of the pasted text so you can check it before sending

Easier Topic selection on the web and smoother long-note editing on iOS

Choose a Topic directly from the AI Assistant chat box on the web. We also fixed an issue that could slow down long-note editing in the iOS app.

Improvements

  • On the web, choose a document type from "Topic" next to + in the AI Assistant chat box. The button shows your current Topic, and you can remove it from the same menu. You can still search for Topics with @. # now enters regular text instead of opening the Topic list

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue in the iOS app where continued typing or deletion in a long note could make editing progressively slower and cause an editor error

Faster reference search in chat

Find notes, folders, and Topics together in AI Assistant. We also fixed sequential note edits and chat on narrow windows.

Improvements

  • Type @ in AI Assistant to find notes, folders, and Topics in one list. For example, @email shows related references and Topics together. If the text after / doesn't match an action, you can switch directly to search with the same text

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where AI Assistant could mistake its own previous change for another edit when updating a note more than once in the same turn, leaving the next result unsaved
  • Fixed an issue where opening chat in a narrow window could dim the note without showing the chat panel. Chat now opens over the note so you can continue typing
